Store Policies: Returns, Issues, Exceptions, Exchanges, Refunds

We’d like you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase! We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags if applicable, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@somasmallbatchgoods.com with your name, order number, and date of purchase. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

If the item is returned due to a defect or an error on our part such as sending the incorrect product, the customer will not be responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is being returned for other reasons, such as a change of mind, then the cost of shipping will be deducted from the amount refunded.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please note: Each of our candles and scented products are individually handcrafted in small batches, resulting in subtle variations in appearance and fragrance that reflect the artistry and care behind every piece. Our signature scent blends are intentionally designed to evoke an elevated, ambient experience, rather than a scent that is overpowering.

Fragrance perception is personal and may vary from individual to individual. If you prefer a highly intense scent throw that strongly permeates large spaces, our handcrafted soy candles may not align with your desired fragrance experience.

For quality and safety reasons, candles that have been lit or used are not eligible for return. In certain cases, and at our sole discretion, we may offer an exchange to ensure your experience with our products aligns with the standards of our brand.

Our Commitment: Each candle is handmade with high quality materials and extreme care to bring you intentionally crafted small batch artisanal goods.

Damages and issues
All orders are packed carefully with eco-friendly materials and recyclable boxes to protect your order while in transit. Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if any item is damaged so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders, custom candle orders, promotional orders, wholesale orders, made to order and personalized items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item(s).

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, holiday promotions, orders purchased with a promotional discount code, or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to reach out requesting an exchange, and if approved, to return the original item. Once the return is received, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
